Abstract [en]

Methods and Analysis

The proposed review will follow to the JBI framework for scoping reviews (Peters et al, 2015). An extensive search will be performed across AMED,MEDLINE, CINAHL, PsycInfo, ERIC, Scopus, Web of Science and the multidisciplinary collection of databases included in ProQuest Central Premium to ensure a comprehensive and sensitive retrieval of literature at the intersection of Dance, Tai Chi, and Yoga with psychosomatic medicine. After piloting the search and data extraction to determine appropriate search terms and extraction categories, two authors will independently screen and extract key data. Any disagreements will be resolved through discussion or, if necessary, by the mediation of a third author. Based on the data extraction categories, the key pieces of information from each included study will be curated and entered into a table.

Ethics and Dissemination

The proposed scoping review does not require ethics approval because it involves analysis of publicly accessible published and unpublished literature. The findings from the scoping review will be disseminated through conference presentations and publication in academic journals.
