    Abstract [en]

    The Swedish state does not longer decide the selection of teaching materials used at schools. Today, the teachers select by themselves which teaching material that should be used in Swedish schools. Which means that the content in the textbooks doesn’t need to be adapted for a particular syllabus. The aim of this study is to review the content in a textbook, called Zick Zack Skrivrummet, based on the intentions the authors have and discuss the outcome in relation to the theory of genrepedagogy. This study is based on a qualitative method with quantitative elements with a hermeneutic interpretation. The socio-cultural theory as well as genre pedagogy has been used in this study to understand the result. Zick Zack Skrivrummet is based on genre pedagogy and “the curriculum circle” and is adapted to the Swedish syllabus. The study shows that the textbook is adapted to Lgr11 and contains all six different texttypes. Working with “the curriculum circle” in the textbook, the students is getting better at planning and writing different texttypes. The study also shows that the content in the textbook is still the same and have not been updated since it first was relesead in 2011.

    Särskilt stöd utgör elevens yttersta garant för skolans ansträngningar att undanröja orsaker till skolsvårigheter. I lärarens praktik krävs definition och gränsdragning för att skilja det särskilda stödet från annat stöd. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur 7-9-lärare på en skola definierar, avgränsar och erfar arbetet med särskilt stöd. Undersökningen är kvalitativ och genomförd i form av intervjuer, där lärarnas uppfattningar söks.

    Resultatet visar att de uppfattningar av definition och gränsdragning som framträder är situations-bundna och utgör dilemman för den undersökta lärargruppen. Lärarnas utsagor förhåller sig "lös-ningsfokuserat" ofta kritiskt till det rådande läget. Utsagor kring den juridiska styrningen av särskilt stöd uteblir nästan helt.

    De individuella variationer i definition och gränsdragning som framträder i lärargruppens beskriv-ningar tydliggör behovet av att på alla skolenheter aktivt arbeta med samstämmighet kring stödin-satser för elever. Ytterst är detta frågan om rätten till likvärdig utbildning.

    Abstract [sv]

    2011 fick det svenska utbildningsväsendet en ny skollag, i vilken det står att utbildningen ska vila på vetenskaplig grund och beprövad erfarenhet. Tidigare studier har påvisat att förskollärare känner en osäkerhet inför vad det vetenskapliga begreppet innebär. Den här studien syftar till att undersöka förskollärares yrkesidentitet och yrkesspecifika kompetenser i relation till att förskolan vilar på vetenskaplig grund. Studien utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv vilket innebär en syn på människor som deltagare i en social interaktion där handlingar och tänkande är situerade i en social kontext.  Studiens empiriska data härrör från fokusgrupper med förskollärare samt intervjuer med en lektor och en professor. Analysarbetet har genomförts med inspiration av Grounded Theory. Resultatet består av sju olika kategorier. Kollektiv kompetens som praxisbunden och verbal, Kompetens i form av görande, Kompetens som förmåga att hantera en komplex verksamhet, Personlighet som kompetens, Reflektion som kompetens, Se och förstå barns intentioner samt Kompetens och identitet i relation till en vetenskaplig grund. Det framkommer en hög kompetens hos förskollärare när de samtalar om sin verksamhet, men de har svårt att uttrycka sin kunskap i relation till vetenskapliga teorier. När de sätter ord på sin kompetens gör de det i termer av ett görande i en kollektiv och praxisbunden kultur.

    Lyssnande pedagoger och lärande småbarn: En intervjustudie om temaarbete som utmanande projekt2008Other (Other academic)

    Studien syftar till att bidra till en diskussion kring hur temainriktat arbetssätt iförskolan kan vara en kontext för små barns lärande. Frågeställningarna rörförskollärares beskrivningar om temaarbete, barns lärande i temaarbete och hurförskollärarna tar tillvara på barns frågor och tankar. Den metod som använts i studienär enskilda intervjuer. Resultatet visar hur ett temaarbete kan utformas över tid, atttermen temaarbete, även om det brukas på olika sätt, används av förskollärarna som ettgemensamt fokus för pedagogiska val i arbetet. Små barns lärande i temaarbetebeskriver förskollärarna som en del i deras livslånga lärande, att de får med sig någotfrån temat som de har användning för senare. Genom att vara lyhörda för små barnskroppsspråk, genom att lyssna och se hur barnen interagerar med miljö och materialoch genom att arbeta med reflektion kring pedagogisk dokumentation menarförskollärarna att de tar tillvara på barns egna frågor och tankar redan innan de sätterord på dem. Temaarbetet kan utifrån detta betraktas som utmanande projekt för barnenoch pedagogerna.

    Studien har som syfte att utveckla kunskap om datorspelens pedagogik; hur är den uppbyggd, vilka pedagogiska principer bygger den på och går det att överföra den till skolmiljöer?

    En alternativ formulering av studiens syfte är att utveckla kunskap om vad det är i datorspelen som får unga att tillsammans med ett sexpack Red Bull sitta stilla i timmar framför datorn och ägna sig åt datorspel. Finns det en pedagogisk innovation i spelen som i överförd mening skulle kunna få unga, tillsammans med en sexpack Red Bull, att sitta med sin matematikläxa i timmar varje dag – eller sammanlagt 10.000 timmar utöver dem som skolan kräver? 

    Resultatet visar att datorspelen tar pedagogiken till en ny nivå.

    Genom att utbilda lärare i hur forsknings bedrivs i en lokal skolpraktik utvecklas en vetenskaplig kompetens bland yrkesverksamma lärare. Med en sådan kan lärare studer hur barn och unga lär sig och med den kunskapen som grund göra didaktiska val. Dessa val skapar förutsättningarna för full måluppfyllelse hos eleverna i grundskolan.
