Abstract [en]

This paper provides the results of a research looking into the existence or nonexistence of a causality relationship between population growth and GDP growth in contemporary China. The study divided China into four regions based on different economic development plans the Chinese government initiated since the early 1980s until the 21st century. Eventually, causality relationship was observed at different levels.
