Abstract [sv]

Hjärtsvikt är ett tillstånd som ökar i dagens samhälle. Tillståndet påverkar många funktioner i det dagliga livet som främst beror på symtom och olika behov som gör vardagen svår för individen. Syftet var att beskriva individens upplevelse av att leva med hjärtsvikt. Metoden som användes var en litteraturöversikt med en kvalitativ ansats, med sammanlagt 12 artiklar. Analysen resulterade i huvudtemat

En oförutsägbar och sviktande kropp med de tillhörande temana En ny livssituaion, Att uppleva trygghet, Att behöva anpassa sig till det nya tillståndet samt Att finna mening med livet. Resultatet visar att hjärtsvikt ger symtom och känslor som hindrar individen att vara den person individen var före insjuknandet. Tillståndet kräver anpassning till situationen för att främja en god livssituation och att åter finna mening med livet och hopp om framtiden. Sjuksköterskans främsta uppgift vid vård av individen med hjärtsvikt är, att utbilda individen så att anpassning till situationen kan ske. Detta kan göra att individen känner trygghet i sin livssituation.

Abstract [en]

Heart failure is a condition that increases in the society today. The condidtion affects a lot in the daily life which mostly depends up on symptoms and different demands that makes the every day life hard for the individual. The purpose was to describe the individuals’ experiences of living with heart failure. A literature review with a qualitative approach was usead as the method with 12 articles all together. An unpredictable and failing bodywith the appurtenant themes A new situation of life, To experience security, Need to adapt to the new condition, and To find the meaning with life.The result shows that heart failure gives symptoms and feelings that narrow the individuals’ chances of being the same person as before the disease started. The condition claims adaption to the new situation to promote a good situation of life and to once again find the meaning of life and hope for the future. The nurse's task when caring these individuals is to educate them so readjusting will be able to befall, which will give the individual security in the new circumstances of life.
