Abstract [en]
The cell-based mesh networks are focused on in this Master thesis project. The industrial applications, such as Wireless HART, ISA 100-11a and WIA PA, are addressed. The simulated channel model is shadowing model with deviation, and the simulation of channel model’s properties are both necessary and sufficient to simulate the critical devices in IWSN. The partition schemas and the broadcast schemas are also defined and implemented for different scenarios in this thesis. Moreover the routing algorithms are categorized as basic routes, intra-cell routes and inter-cell routes. This categorization makes the network reconfigurations more reliable and fast in the cases of link failures, field router failure and backbone router failures. The simulation results show that the cell-based mesh networks provide a statistic point of view to evaluate the route cost in the partitioned cells. Keywords
