Abstract [en]

This paper is a collaboration with the company Sverige-Norge. Their business concept is to connect Swedish manpower to Norwegian employers. The emphasis of this work is to enhance the existing system they use to find Swedish employees to Norwegian employers. The old system was based on manually selecting candidates for possible job-openings. This was done by handpicking the candidates from the database. However this was not efficient but time-consuming and thereby expensive.

The solution to prevent inefficiency was to create a search-engine. A search-engine would allow employers to find their suitable candidates, without the intervenience of the administration. In order to give an accurate search result, a grading system was requested for each candidate. A grading system would give the employer the benefit to see how well each candidate is suitable for the job-offering. The result was a fully functional search engine with a grading system based on experiences of the candidates.
