In order to get free from addiction an maintain a sobriety .and drog -freedom the person can seach for various interventions and form of support. The study also describes personality factors that can influence the choice of supportform. The variables have been analyzed using SPSS. The result show among other things that there is a connection between thosse who have a sensationseeking personality and more frequently participation in supportgroup at Anonyma Narkomaner. It also appears that those who suffer from anxiety and depression turn more frequently to Beroendeenheten and Religious denomination, and that those who have a lower lvel of education turn to Beroendeenheten.
