O objetivo deste trabalho é revisar sistematicamente a literatura sobre aintegração interfuncional no contexto de PDP. Realizou-se uma revisãosistemática da literatura para identificar e analisar as principais vertentes depesquisa. Obteve-se uma amostra final de 87 artigos que foram consideradosnesta revisão. A análise de conteúdo dos artigos permitiu identificar e caracterizartrês categorias principais: Vertentes de pesquisa; Fatores de integração e fases doPDP. Além disso, também foram analisados dados descritivos relacionados aprincipais revistas, país da pesquisa de campo e ano. Foram desenvolvidas trêsproposições e indicam a necessidade de integração interfuncional para eficiênciaNPD em três situações: alto fluxo de projetos dentro do PDP, alto envolvimentoda empresa com inovação e alta complexidade do PDP. Por fim, uma agenda depesquisa foi desenvolvida com base na articulação entre a teoria existente e asanálises bibliométricas. 

The purpose of this paper is to systematically review the literature on crossfunctional integration in the NPD context. A systematic literature review wasconducted in order to identify and to analyze the main research streams. Theliterature search ended up in final sample of 87 papers which were considerationin this review. The content analysis of the articles allowed to identify and tocharacterize three main categories: Research streams; Integration factors andPhases in the NPD cycle. Moreover, descriptive data related to Main journals, Yearand Field research country were also analyzed. Three propositions weredeveloped, and indicate the need for cross-functional integration for NPDefficiency in three situations: a high flow of projects within the NPD, highinvolvement of the company with innovation and high complexity of the NPDprocess. Finally, a research agenda was developed based on the articulationbetween existing theory and bibliometric analyses.
