"You Cannot Kill a Christian, You Can Only Change the Address" : A Qualitative Ethnographic Study of the Charismatic Movement To Be Continued (English)
Abstract [en]

This study is an ethnographic field study with the purpose to map the swedish neo-pentecostal movement To Be Continued. This study is divided into two main categories – “Discipleship and healing as a tool” and “Evangelization strategies”, including observations and interviews as the main study-material. The study shows that the movement has several interesting aspects for analysis, as well as a new language that is peculiar to most neo-pentecostal movements. The result indicates a movement that works practically through various models for disciple training, where healing is used only as a tool for bringing people to salvation. The interviews show that all informants understand healing in a similar way, however, there are differences between them in how they use it in their everyday lives.
