Abstract [en]

This study aims to provide an overview of the course literature within the educational sciences core, which is a part of all teacher training programs in Sweden. The empirical data consists of the course literature in the educational sciences core from seven different universities. By categorizing the literature further we aim to analyze weather the literature corresponds to what regulates the educational sciences core, but also to see if the literature is equivalent across the seven universities that is examined in this study. The results will be discussed with the frame factor theory and the earlier research conducted in this field. The results suggests that the literature is not equivalent nor does it corresponds coherently to what regulates the educational science core within the teacher training programs. 

Abstract [sv]

Studien syftar till att bidra med kunskap om kurslitteraturen inom den utbildningsvetenskapliga kärnan, vilken är en del av alla lärarutbildningar i Sverige. Den empiriska datan består av kurslitteraturen inom kärnan vid sju olika lärosäten. Kurslitteraturen analyseras efter att den har kategoriserats för att se huruvida den överensstämmer med de regleringar som ska styra innehållet i kärnan. Resultaten analyseras utifrån ramfaktorteorin och den tidigare forskning som finns inom fältet. Resultatet visar att litteraturen inte kan betraktas som likvärdig mellan lärosätena, samt att regleringarna inte återspeglas i urvalet av kurslitteratur.
