Results: Occupational therapists have skills and tools to assess the clients’ situation in a profound way that helps to understand the clients’ complexities better. Conclusions: The occupational therapist’s perspective in child welfare services is important and needed. Significance: Occupational therapists are a new profession in social services. The results of this study are significant when discussing the role of occupational therapy in service network.
